From their farm to your fork
Daylesford Organic Farm – RSPCA Good Business Awards 2011 winner
At Daylesford, the Bamford family have been farming organically for over 25 years with a simple passion for real food. They are committed to organic and sustainable farming, believing that it is better for customers, their animals, the environment and taste.
Food comes straight from their farms. Customers are invited to visit to see for themselves how animals are cared for and the time and effort that is put into producing all their quality food – from farm to fork.
“Animal welfare is at the heart of what we do and we will always treat our animals with respect,” says Daylesford’s Camilla Wilson.
“Through recognition by the RSPCA Good Business Awards we hope to demonstrate this high level of commitment and share our passion with other like-minded businesses and customers.”
Daylesford Farmshop and Café in the Cotswolds opened its doors for the first time in 2003. There are now two more shops with cafés on London’s Pimlico Road and Notting Hill. They also have a concession in the world-renowned Selfridges Food Hall on Oxford Street and Daylesford produce is now available internationally in Tokyo and Munich. A team of around 150 keep the wheels turning in Daylesford Farm’s enterprising business.
In fact, a Gloucestershire farm enjoying global success – and all with animal welfare at its heart.
